O Heavenly Father,
Today's world is a bit harder than it used to be. I've been growing older and much more is consuming me. The work is proving itself more strenuous and the days are growing longer. But I know that You're still on Your thrown, Dear Father. O Mighty Warrior, Those people are getting meaner. That law is being passed in the people's favor. This world is growing colder, and humanity is becoming angrier. But I know that You are still fighting for our hearts, El-Shaddai. O Precious Lover, Their confidence is wearing thin. You see, they are trying to find meaning in mere men. They know not of the God who wants to know them. But I know that You are still seeking to be their desire, Jehovah-Elohim. And O Sweet Jesus, My friends are getting sadder. They don't understand how someone so far away can hear them. Sometimes I just want to scream, "He's THE Answer!" And I don't want to leave this Earth without them knowing that they have a father who won't leave them. But I know that You hold them in Your Great Hands, Our Savior. Maybe one day this world will see That doing life on their own isn't what it's cracked up to be. Maybe one day they'll understand How not only happy, but joyful, they can be with You in command. And maybe one day we'll see each other in Heaven, We'll cry tears of joy and laugh all the same. Because Jesus is worth all of the pain here on Earth, And His grace abounds and gives life in future worlds. ~Alexa M.

noteThank you for allowing me to share my journey with Christ with you. I am not always right, and I do not hold all of the world's answers, but my prayer is that you will find some peace in knowing that we're on this journey together- and that Jesus is guiding us home. Archives
